Baakel means "skeleton" in Maya and is the first design of a series of bone hoops that can be stacked. One of the new ideas at Osseum is to have a jewelry collection that can be combined, so you can slowly build it up and play with it.

DETAILS:

The model for these bone earrings was carved by hand in wax and then cast in yellow bronze using the lost-wax process. The antique finish is an oxidizing patina, and the clasp for sensitive ears is anodized titanium.
